Polly's Brew Co | Confidently Lost (St Albans)

India Pale Ale, 5.8, Keg

We’ve recently become massive fans of Oat IPAs here at Polly’s. Whether that’s down to enjoying the extra body it brings to our beers, or subconsciously wanting more oats thanks to a newfound obsession with oat milk in our coffees in the brewery is up for debate, but there’s definitely something about upping the oats on the malt bill that really make our beers pop. Featuring 50kg in the mash, this beer has a distinctive creaminess present throughout; buffed up by a generous dry hop bill of Simcoe and Citra for some tropical juiciness, with some Chinook thrown in for some old school bite for good measure.

Polly's Brew Co | Cryo Victors (St Albans)

Pale Ale, 5.5, Keg

We’re all about the smashable pale ales here at Polly’s; beers with maximum flavour profile but sensible strengths. Cryo Victors came about when we were lucky enough to happen upon some Cryo Simcoe and Cryo Citra in our hop contract. Already acutely aware of how well these two hops work together, we decided to pull the absolute max flavour we possibly could out of these two incredible varietals, with 15kg added in the dry hop; the equivalent of 30kg of our usual pellet hops for a tropical explosion of a pale ale.

Cask

Cask ale undergoes secondary fermentation in the barrel. Fresh live beer is put straight into the barrel where it remains alive and kicking until it lands in your glass. Cask ale is considered to be 'Real Ale'.

Keg

Keg beer uses pressured carbon dioxide to dispense the beer. It’s served colder and generally more carbonated than cask ale. Some kegs undergo secondary fermentation in the barrel the same as cask ale. Kegs suit many styles of beer including lagers, pale ales and sour beers.

Growlers

The prices above include one way takout bottles. We can also fill reusable Growlers from our taps if you bring one in, or you can purchase a Beer Shop Growler in store. The discounts are £0.30 for 1 litre, and £0.50 for 2 litre quantities.
